Transparent pricing for quality veterinary care in the Southern Forests region
Please note: Prices listed are guides only and may vary based on individual circumstances, animal size, complexity of treatment, and after-hours requirements.
For an accurate quote for your pet's specific needs, please contact us or book a consultation. We're always happy to discuss estimated costs before proceeding with any treatment.
At our clinics, a standard consultation allows for up to 20 minutes of time with our vets. We find that this is sufficient time to thoroughly manage most conditions. If your pet has multiple problems, or very complex medical issues, we recommend booking an Extended Consultation.

Keeping your pet's vaccinations up to date is one of the best ways to protect them from serious diseases. All our vaccination appointments include a thorough health check with one of our vets, so we can make sure your furry friend is in tip-top shape.
Puppies need a series of three vaccinations to build up their immunity. Here's how it works:
After your dog's puppy series, they'll need a C5 booster at 15 months old. From then on, the C3 component (parvovirus, hepatitis, distemper) only needs boosting every three years, while the kennel cough components (canine influenza and bordetella) need annual top-ups.
Kittens follow a similar pattern to puppies, with vaccinations typically given at 6-8 weeks, 10-12 weeks, and 14-16 weeks. Adult cats need regular boosters to stay protected—we'll work with you to figure out the right schedule for your cat's lifestyle.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| C5 - Adult Dog Annual Vaccination | $145.00 |
| C3 - Puppy Vaccination Course | $135.00 per visit |
| F3/F5 - Cat Vaccination | $135.00 - $145.00 |
All vaccination prices include a comprehensive health check. Additional vaccines and services available - please contact us for details.

Good news—our desexing prices include everything your pet needs for a safe, comfortable procedure: pre-anaesthetic health check, general anaesthesia with full monitoring, the surgery itself, IV fluids, pain relief medication to go home with, follow-up checks, protective collars if needed, and detailed aftercare instructions. No hidden extras!
Pricing is based on your pet's size and sex. We do apply additional charges for pets that are in-season, pregnant, or older than 18 months, as these cases require extra surgical time and care.

Getting an exact price for dental work requires a proper look at every tooth, both above and below the gumline. Our furry patients don't always cooperate with "say ahh", so we can only give you a precise quote once they're comfortably asleep under anaesthetic and we can do a thorough assessment.
Think your pet's teeth might need some TLC? Book a check-up with one of our vets. We'll have a look at their teeth during the consultation and let you know if dental treatment is needed. From there, we'll schedule the procedure for a time that works for you.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Scale, Polish & Assessment (under anaesthetic) | $650.00 |
If we find teeth that need extracting, we'll give you a call to talk through which ones and provide an updated cost estimate before proceeding. For pets with serious dental disease, costs can reach $1,800–$2,900 or more, but the good news is that with regular dental care, most cases cost significantly less. Pets needing moderate dental work with a few extractions typically fall in the $800–$1,900 range.
Please make sure you're available by phone on the day of your pet's dental procedure—we always get your go-ahead before removing any teeth.
Found a lump on your pet? We understand it can be worrying. To figure out the best approach for removal, we need to answer two key questions: what is it, and where is it?
To work out "what" we're dealing with, we'll usually take a small sample of cells from the lump. Often we can do a quick fine needle aspirate right then and there, then pop the cells under the microscope to see what type they are. Sometimes we might need to send the sample off to a specialist pathologist for a more detailed diagnosis, or take a slightly larger sample (called a biopsy).
The "where" question has two parts: obviously, where on your pet's body is the lump located? But also, if it turns out to be cancerous, has it spread anywhere else? Depending on what we find, we might suggest checking other areas like lymph nodes, lungs, or internal organs to get the full picture.
Here's how the process works: First, book an appointment with one of our vets. If we take a fine needle aspirate and can diagnose it right away, there's a lab fee. If we need to send it to a specialist pathologist, there's a different lab fee for that. Once we know what we're dealing with, we can chat about whether surgery is needed and what it would involve.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Consultation | $105.00 |
| Fine Needle Aspirate with Cytology | $65.00 |
| External Laboratory Pathology | $256.74 |
| Lump Removal Surgery | $950.00 - $2,950.00 |
If the lump turns out to be benign, we might not need to proceed with surgery at all. If it's malignant or causing other issues, the cost of surgery depends on the location, type of lump, and various other factors. We'll give you an accurate estimate once we've completed the initial diagnostic steps.
We perform a wide range of surgical procedures at our clinics, from routine operations to more complex soft tissue surgeries. All procedures are conducted with modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment and sterile surgical techniques. Surgical costs include anaesthesia, the procedure itself, pain relief, and post-operative care.
Surgery costs typically range from $1,000 to $4,000 depending on the complexity of the procedure and the aftercare required. Simple procedures are at the lower end of this range, while more complex or lengthy surgeries requiring intensive post-operative care fall at the higher end.
Surgery pricing varies greatly depending on the specific procedure required. We provide detailed written quotes before any surgical procedure. Please note we do not perform orthopaedic surgery—we can refer complex cases to specialist surgeons.
Getting to the bottom of what's going on with your pet often requires some detective work. We have comprehensive diagnostic capabilities right here on-site, which means we can get answers faster and start treatment sooner.
Our in-house diagnostic equipment includes digital X-ray for looking at bones, organs, and foreign objects; ultrasound for examining soft tissues and internal organs; blood chemistry analysis for checking organ function, electrolytes, and general health markers; complete blood cell counts (haematology) for detecting infections, anaemia, and blood disorders; automated urine analysis for kidney function and urinary tract health; blood gas and coagulation testing for critically ill patients and surgical planning.
Having these diagnostic tools on-site means we can run tests while you wait and discuss results with you the same day—no waiting days for results to come back from external labs. This is especially valuable in emergency situations where every minute counts.
Here's the thing about taking X-rays of pets—unlike us humans, they're not exactly cooperative when we ask them to hold perfectly still! That's why we usually need to either sedate or anaesthetise your pet to get clear, diagnostic-quality images.
For a set of X-rays to check out a joint or bone concern, you're looking at around $580 for sedation and the X-rays themselves (consultation fees are separate). If we need a comprehensive chest series—which requires general anaesthesia to capture those crystal-clear images—the cost ranges from $870–$1,200.
Don't worry, we'll always chat through what's needed and provide you with an accurate cost estimate before we proceed with any imaging.
Ultrasound is brilliant for getting a good look at soft tissues and internal organs. Sometimes we just need a quick peek to check for fluid around organs or assess a specific area—these simpler scans start from around $90. More detailed ultrasound examinations usually require sedation (which is an additional $180) to keep your pet comfortable and still enough for us to get thorough images. If a general anaesthetic is needed for a particularly in-depth examination, we'll discuss those costs with you beforehand.
Blood tests are incredibly helpful for understanding what's happening inside your pet's body. Whether we're checking organ function, looking for infections, or monitoring a chronic condition, having our laboratory equipment on-site means same-day results in most cases. The cost of blood work varies depending on which specific tests your vet recommends—we might run a quick single test or a comprehensive panel depending on what we're investigating.
All diagnostic pricing includes the procedure itself. Consultation fees, sedation ($180), or general anaesthesia are charged separately where required. Your vet will provide a detailed estimate during your consultation based on what's needed for your pet's specific situation.
